Banner Health, an Arizona-based system with more than 30 hospitals, 10,000 providers and over 3 million patients, struggled with disconnected EHRs, disparate data sources, a distributed data lake, and high IT infrastructure costs that produced thousands of ad‑hoc reports and limited ROI.
