Building the Future of Digital Oncology on a Health Cloud

Ora, a digital oncology startup backed by the Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), needed a way to improve the care experience for patients undergoing active cancer treatment (notably breast and prostate cancers) and to succeed in value-based care. Ora faced challenges with fragmented data across EHRs, claims, labs and pharmacies, redundant technology driving unnecessary utilization, and the need for an integrated patient view, palliative care workflows, and performance tracking. To address this, Ora partnered with Innovaccer and adopted the Innovaccer Health Cloud.

Innovaccer implemented the Innovaccer Health Cloud to unify patient records, ingest data from multiple sources, and deliver custom analytics, dashboards, automated workflows and EHR-agnostic physician engagement at the point of care. The platform enabled a 360-degree patient view, real-time decision support, prioritized patients to the right care teams, and surfaced care gaps and referral information; Innovaccer provided over 800 measures for tracking network performance, yielding actionable insights that highlighted vulnerable patients and supported symptom-management and palliative-care programs. More outcome data was expected in 2021 to quantify further impact.
