Case Study: KMD achieves secure cloud device management with Innofactor and Microsoft

Transparent security and easy administration of thousands of cloud connected devices

KMD A/S, one of Denmark's largest IT companies, faced the challenge of migrating its email and productivity tools to the cloud for over 3,200 employees and external partners. They needed a solution that would provide transparent security and easy administration for thousands of mobile devices, prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data, and eliminate cumbersome log-on procedures, all while allowing employees to work from any device.

Innofactor designed and implemented a security infrastructure for KMD A/S based on the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite, specifically utilizing Azure AD for authentication and Intune for device management. The solution allowed KMD to securely manage a large number of personal and corporate devices with minimal administration, enabling secure access to Office 365 and OneDrive for Business. The project established a strong security foundation for the cloud migration, ensuring data integrity and allowing for remote wiping of corporate data from lost devices.
