Smarter and more efficient business planning and corporate management

Skanska, one of the world's leading construction and project development companies, needed to revise its outdated processes and IT tool for business planning and corporate management. The on-premise SharePoint solution supporting its goal management tool was no longer viable, and the company sought to make its processes more efficient, scalable, and transparent. To address this, Skanska engaged vendor Innofactor to develop a new solution.

Innofactor implemented a new goal management tool, Styrportalen 2.0, built on the Microsoft Power Platform. The solution utilized Power Apps to create a shared structure for business plans, Dataverse for secure data management, Power BI for visualization, and Power Automate to automate administrative tasks. The results included more uniform and structured operating methods, an improved overview of business plans, greater transparency across the organization, and a significant reduction in administrative resources for the management portal.
