New intranet brings the City’s employees together

The City of Oulu, a major employer in Northern Finland with 11,000 employees, sought a partner to redesign its intranet and improve group work. They required fresh ideas and external expertise, which they found by collaborating with Innofactor.

Innofactor built a Microsoft 365-based intranet that addressed both current and future needs. The solution, which utilizes Microsoft Teams and Azure, provides a modern platform for effective communication and teamwork. The successful deployment for all 11,000 users received very positive feedback, with a key result being significantly improved access for 3,000 education workers. Based on this success, Innofactor continues to provide the city with development and administration services.
