Food waste app makes it easier to track food waste targets at Servica

Innofactor collaborated with Servica Oy, an in-house company providing catering and facility services, to address a challenge with food waste monitoring. The solution implemented by Innofactor was a custom food waste application built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This app streamlined data recording, automatically calculating total waste, its associated costs, and carbon footprint. Power BI reporting enabled comprehensive monitoring, significantly reducing manual work. The application was praised for being easy to use and logical, successfully reducing the workload for staff and providing valuable data for strategic planning.
