Case Study: PreCure prevents occupational injuries with Innofactor and Microsoft Azure

A Innofactor Case Study

Preview of the PreCure Case Study

Artificial cloud intelligence prevents occupational injuries and RSI

PreCure, a Danish start-up, faced the challenge of preventing repetitive strain injuries (RSI) and wear-and-tear injuries for workers in various industries. They partnered with vendor Innofactor to develop a solution, PreCure Elbow, which utilizes wearable sensor technology and a cloud platform on Microsoft Azure to analyze user movement data and provide alerts.

The solution implemented by Innofactor involved building an Azure-based architecture with machine learning algorithms to process sensor data from the wearable sleeve. This artificial intelligence analyzes muscle signals to identify harmful movements in real-time and alert users to correct their posture, aiming to prevent injury before damage occurs. Innofactor's expertise enabled the start-up to effectively leverage cloud intelligence. The partners believe the product has the potential to help hundreds of thousands of people worldwide avoid painful occupational injuries.
