Spark replaced career barriers with growth opportunities

Spark, a communications company of about 5,000 people, needed to scale internal mobility to retain skills and give employees ongoing growth opportunities. To solve this "burning platform," Spark partnered with Gloat and deployed Gloat’s internal talent marketplace platform to open up internal gigs and career pathways across the business.

Gloat’s platform removed career barriers and made internal moves visible and actionable, resulting in more than 7,000 unlocked hours and 40% of Spark’s workforce registered on the platform, with plans to expand further in 2023. The solution by Gloat materially increased internal mobility, supporting retention and employee development across Spark.
