A Gloat Case Study

Preview of the Fidelity International Case Study

How Fidelity International created purpose-led career development

Fidelity International, a global financial services firm with about 10,000 employees, wanted to improve career development and internal mobility as skills needs changed rapidly. The company struggled to identify all the skills employees already had and needed a better way to connect people to growth opportunities, reskilling, and cross-skilling paths. It turned to Gloat and its AI-powered talent marketplace to help employees take more control of their careers.

Gloat rolled out the platform first to HR and then expanded companywide, with leadership support and a strong focus on user experience. The results were strong: more than 65% of Fidelity International’s workforce registered, over 35,000 hours were unlocked within six months, nearly $1.2 million in savings were generated in six months, and more than 50% of project assignments became cross-functional. The platform also helped employees gain new skills, move into full-time roles, and broaden their networks across countries and teams.
