Yamaha Motor promoted its muscular FZ-16 to mid-range, style-conscious young male riders and needed a way to build brand awareness and drive purchase intent among that audience. To reach these mobile-savvy prospects, Yamaha partnered with the InMobi mobile network to deliver a targeted image campaign.
InMobi used mobile banner ads that directed users to a video landing page featuring the full TV commercial, user-submitted reviews, and downloadable bike wallpapers. The campaign yielded strong engagement: nearly 10% of click-through users downloaded the TV commercial, almost 7% located a store, and it achieved a peak CTR of 6.6%, boosting both awareness and foot traffic.
