Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing reaches the number one slot iniTunes with help from InMobi’s mobile ad network

Sega enlisted InMobi to promote Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, a new iOS title released to celebrate the franchise’s 20th anniversary. The challenge was to drive awareness, engagement and downloads among gamers aged 14–34 across iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch at launch.

InMobi ran graphical display banners across North American iOS inventory and built a dynamic landing page with the game trailer and download link, using handset optimization and bold creative (including video). The campaign’s CTR peaked at 0.9%—well above the network average—video boosted engagement, and the game reached the number one iPad app spot in iTunes at launch.
