Mastercard, working with the Singapore Tourism Board, partnered with InMobi to promote Singapore as a preferred holiday destination for Indian travelers and to drive higher card spend during the peak season. The challenge was to reach and engage affluent and frequent travelers with timely, relevant mobile messaging that would encourage redemption of offers across shopping, hotels and dining.
InMobi ran a two‑phase mobile campaign combining persona, location, time/day, appographic and lookalike targeting, with real‑time creative optimization and retargeting: Phase 1 reached 700,000 users with personalized interstitials (CTRs rose from 1.3% to 4%), and Phase 2 geo‑targeted 460,000 users in Singapore with contextual creatives (CTRs rose from 4% to 7.6%), delivering results that exceeded campaign goals.
