Knorr, a major global food brand under Unilever, faced the challenge of increasing awareness for its Sinigang soup bases and reigniting the joy of home cooking among young Filipinos in a competitive instant meal market. To achieve this, the vendor InMobi implemented a targeted mobile advertising campaign.

The solution from InMobi utilized weather targeting and innovative rich media ads. They served interactive roulette ads on mobile apps, which were triggered during rainy weather to align with cravings for warm soup. This strategy, executed by InMobi, reached 2.5 million unique users and resulted in a click-through rate 1.86x higher than the platform benchmark, with 1 in 2 viewers reporting increased brand awareness.
