InMobi and WYNK Music partnered with Diageo’s McDowell’s to build awareness for the #No1YaariJam music album on mobile. The brief was to reach and engage music-loving Millennials across India by creating a distinct sonic identity for the brand tied to an album from a leading musician duo.
InMobi used Wynk’s home placement and inventory—branded push notifications to a 20M+ user base, playlist banners, non‑skippable audio ads and social plugs—to drive discovery of the McDowell’s playlist. The campaign delivered 2.1 million streams in 10 days and 302K downloads, achieved pan‑India reach (notably Karnataka, Delhi and Maharashtra), skewed to 25–35 year‑olds (42%) and reached a predominantly male audience (74%).
