Inedible’s Shotgun Free iPhone App Triples International eCPMs With InMobi

Inedible Software, creator of the popular Shotgun Free iPhone app, needed a stronger way to monetize its large global audience, especially international traffic. The app had already been downloaded millions of times, but the team wanted better ad performance and higher eCPMs, particularly outside the U.S. InMobi’s mobile ad SDK was used as part of the app’s ad setup to address this challenge.

InMobi’s SDK outperformed other ad networks internationally, delivering a 3x increase in international eCPMs, while U.S. eCPMs rose by 10% on average. Inedible Software said InMobi’s setup was easy and the SDK was stable, and noted that InMobi became essential to its monetization strategy because more than 45% of traffic came from other countries.
