Energizer launched EcoAdvanced, its first battery made with a percentage of recycled materials, and needed to drive in‑store awareness and purchase intent at the point of purchase. To avoid procuring beacon hardware or building app integrations, Energizer (with agency MEC Global) partnered with vendor inMarket and used inMarket’s mobile consumer experience platform and beacon proximity service to reach shoppers at the critical “mobile moment.”

inMarket deployed beacon and first‑party GPS targeting across its scale (50 million monthly active app users) to deliver native full‑page moments, video, banners and opt‑in push messages. The campaign delivered a 3.8x lift in purchase intent (3.5% → 16.8%) among 34,000 respondents, generated over 411,000 in‑store shelf engagements (≈2,249/day), and ran on a CPE basis—showing inMarket’s proximity solution drove measurable consideration and in‑store engagement for Energizer EcoAdvanced.
