Rügenwalder Spezialitäten, a family-owned German meat-product manufacturer, faced fragmented project work: many small- and mid-sized initiatives were tracked in Excel and Outlook, which reached their limits. To consolidate project management and keep employees in a familiar environment, the company selected InLoox and implemented InLoox PM, the locally installed project management software integrated into Microsoft Outlook.
Using InLoox PM since 2017 across product development, sales, purchasing, production and management, Rügenwalder Spezialitäten standardized workflows with mind maps, Gantt charts and document management, and even uses the tool for some CRM tasks. The result: about 250 projects completed in the first year, a significant reduction in internal email traffic, clearer task structures and better project visibility for ~30 users—outcomes achieved through the InLoox solution and ongoing user training.
