More efficient planning and successful acquisition

Brückner Architekten, a Munich-based architecture and interior design firm, struggled with low employee acceptance of a quality-management (QM) system in Excel, excessive manual reconciliation between projects and QM, and a lack of linkage between scheduling and processes. They turned to InLoox, choosing the InLoox project management software integrated in Outlook—initially for time tracking and later as their core project management and QM tool—to lower the barrier to entry for staff and align planning with everyday workflows.

Using InLoox for Outlook to manage time, tasks, resources, Gantt scheduling and Kanban views, Brückner Architekten replaced the Excel QM and digitized end-to-end processes from planning to production. InLoox enabled self-managed employees, clearer capacity planning, faster target-actual comparisons and even served as an acquisition USP; the firm says it can handle significantly more projects with the same headcount and estimates it would have needed 10 additional employees without InLoox.
