Case Study: EWE AG achieves secure, transparent real-time control of the enera energy-transition project with InLoox

Energy transition project led by EWE AG is supported by InLoox

EWE AG, as lead of the enera cross‑company pilot for Germany’s energy transition, faced the task of coordinating 33 consortium partners, several hundred participants, 14 work packages and roughly 1,200 individual steps while meeting stringent data‑security and IT‑integration requirements. To address this, EWE selected the cloud‑based project management solution InLoox now! from InLoox, integrated into Microsoft Outlook, to provide a single central platform for planning, collaboration and documentation across companies.

InLoox deployed its cloud Outlook‑integrated platform to onboard external users, assign tasks and decentralise responsibility while complying with high security standards. The result: EWE AG project leadership gained real‑time reporting, transparent oversight of milestones, effort, resources and dependencies, and improved communication and accountability across the 33 partners—enhancing documentation and public trust in the taxpayer‑funded enera programme.
