Emons Spedition Improves Transparency in Projects

Emons Spedition, a family-owned transport and logistics provider with over 3,100 employees at 104 locations, faced a "project jungle" in 2015: too many uncoordinated measures, limited transparency and planning reliability, and project tracking managed in Excel. To address this, Emons selected the InLoox software—an Outlook-integrated project management solution—seeking better communication, central document storage and regional vendor support.

InLoox was rolled out across roughly 50 Emons users and now handles about 40% of the company’s project volume, delivering an overall project view, central document management, planning templates and improved resource and cost transparency. The InLoox solution helped streamline processes, reduce information gaps, make costs traceable, and boost project-based planning—changes that Emons says increased competitiveness and project predictability.
