Vicinity Centres boosts app downloads 58.9% with Inlight

Inlight partnered with Vicinity Centres to address the challenge of an underperforming shopping centre app that was failing to meet post-pandemic shopper expectations. The existing app made it difficult for visitors to navigate over 500 stores and locate amenities, which reduced overall customer satisfaction and engagement.

The solution developed by Inlight was a React Native mobile app featuring smart indoor wayfinding, real-time parking updates, and personalized offers. This resulted in a 58.9% year-to-date increase in app downloads, provided greater operational insights for the client, and won the 2024 Australian Web Award for Mobile App Development.
