Directed, a consumer electronics company and the largest designer and marketer of consumer-branded vehicle security and remote start systems in North America, needed a better way to stop phishing attacks targeting its executives and employees. While its existing spam and malware filters caught mass threats, they were not effective against modern phishing attempts, and some emails were still making it to users despite awareness training.

Directed turned to INKY’s anti-phishing solution, deploying it first in a two-week trial and then across its managed email domains. INKY’s simple deployment, real-time banner warnings, and dashboard helped the IT team identify more than 1,200 suspicious emails, with none successfully actioned. Directed also used the red-banner alerts as part of ongoing awareness training, and its IT leader credited INKY with giving the organization peace of mind.
