ICCA, the International Congress and Convention Association, wanted to boost attendance at its annual Congress and better capture the attention of its members through social media. The association already had a strong social strategy, but needed a more effective way to turn member excitement into registrations, and turned to InGo for help.
InGo implemented its Advocate Marketing app, using features such as Social Registration, peer-to-peer Personal Invites, Social Posting, and the Who’s-In Social widget to encourage members to promote the event. The results were strong: 18% of delegates at the 54th ICCA Congress came through the InGo channel, and the 2015 ICCA Congress broke its Americas attendance record.
