DMG Events, the organiser of Gastech Singapore 2015, was struggling with list fatigue and limited insight from social media marketing. They wanted a way to grow attendance and attract more relevant, engaged attendees, so they turned to InGo’s Social Registration and Social Advocacy software suite.
InGo worked with DMG Events and its registration partner to implement social registration widgets, a “Who’s In” advocacy page, and social email campaigns. Over three months, the program achieved 27% adoption, created 1,571 advocates with an average of 765 social connections each, drove 741,914 trusted impressions and 3,014 personal invitations, and generated 1,798 acquisitions at just $4.75 per acquisition. InGo’s solution helped DMG Events turn registration into a powerful marketing channel and deliver attendance growth at a fraction of the industry average cost.
