The City of Mannheim launched a modernization program (CHANGE²) to build a management information system that would provide clear organizational visualizations, personnel analytics and decision‑support while leveraging existing SAP human resources data. To meet these goals the City of Mannheim adopted Ingentis org.manager as the vendor solution to graphically depict organizational structure and visualize key personnel indexes.

Ingentis org.manager was integrated via a direct interface to the city’s SAP HR system, delivering 18 clearly organized, authorization‑based reports (org charts, demographics, budget and personnel structure) accessible via a simple desktop link without local installation. The Ingentis org.manager implementation automated SAP data transfer, standardized KPIs to avoid misinterpretation, enabled exportable tables and diagrams for presentations, and provided faster decision support and budget/personnel oversight with minimal installation effort.
