SPIE, a leader in multi-technical services, needed to retrofit its public electric-vehicle charging stations so drivers could pay electronically. Before working with Ingenico Group, charging was inconsistent and often free, and SPIE needed a simple, reliable, futureproof way to support a growing network of EV chargers across France.

Ingenico Group implemented its self-service iSelf terminals, ORIOS software, and the AXIS PCI DSS payment gateway across 1,180 charging stations. The solution enabled fast, contactless payments, real-time reporting, tokenization, and easier refunds and complaint management, helping SPIE deliver a consistent nationwide payment experience and supporting the expansion of reliable EV charging infrastructure.
