AccorHotels streamlines payment experience for customers around the world

AccorHotels, a global hotel group with 4,200 properties in 95 countries, was under pressure to modernize and streamline the online payment experience as part of its digital transformation. Working with Ingenico Group’s ePayments service, AccorHotels needed to make booking, check-in, and checkout more seamless for increasingly demanding travelers while supporting local payment preferences across multiple markets.

Ingenico Group implemented payment enhancements including the Welcome program for faster online check-in/out, a virtual wallet for stored payment methods, and local options such as iDEAL in the Netherlands and Przelewy24 in Poland, plus integrated payments in AccorHotels’ mobile app. The result was a smoother customer journey, easier operations for AccorHotels teams, and stronger business performance, including more than four million app downloads and a payment conversion rate of 84%.
