How Infura Is Powering Nori’s Marketplace and API for Verified Carbon Removal

Nori is a blockchain-based platform for verified carbon removal that helps farmers sell Nori Carbon Removal Tonnes (NRTs) through a marketplace and API. Before working with Infura, Nori was managing its own private Ethereum testnet and API, which required constant upkeep, consumed engineering resources, and slowed product development.

By using Infura’s instant access APIs and dashboard tools on Ethereum mainnet and Ropsten, Nori was able to scale certificate generation, manage API usage, and support rapid prototyping and production operations more efficiently. Infura helped Nori issue nearly 10,000 tonnes of verified CO2 removal certificates and saved the team significant engineer-hours, while providing trusted infrastructure for its carbon removal marketplace.
