Vodafone GmbH, operator of the new Vodafone Campus in Düsseldorf, needed reliable indoor navigation and location-based services to help staff and visitors find colleagues, meeting rooms and points of interest across the building. To address this challenge Vodafone partnered with infsoft to develop indoor positioning capabilities and a location-aware Campus app.

infsoft delivered an indoor-positioning-enabled Campus app (Android and iOS via on-site Cisco infrastructure) featuring interactive 2D/3D maps, room and POI navigation, meeting-room reservations, a buddy finder, “around me” search, cafeteria info and company news. The infsoft solution streamlined wayfinding and operational tasks—enabling users to locate themselves and others, book rooms, and access building services—and was demonstrated live at CeBIT 2013; Vodafone praised infsoft’s creativity, technology and timely delivery.
