Case Study: Ascencia Malls achieves better maintenance control and data-driven insights with Infraspeak

How did a Power BI-Infraspeak integration add quality and control to Ascencia Mall’s corrective and preventive maintenance

Ascencia Malls, the largest listed retail property company in Mauritius with seven shopping malls, was struggling with inconsistent corrective and preventive maintenance processes across its distributed sites. Before working with Infraspeak, maintenance jobs were handled through Excel, WhatsApp, and scattered communication, with no central source of information, limited stock and asset management, and little ability to use operational data effectively.

Infraspeak implemented its IMMP, giving Ascencia Malls a centralized workspace for maintenance operations and later integrating with Power BI to turn maintenance data into actionable insights. The result was greater transparency and control, a Work Order and Planned Job Completion Rate of 96%, and average work order resolution time reduced to 6 hours from as much as 48 hours.
