The Refugee Council of Australia, a not-for-profit operating with a tight budget and no dedicated IT staff, faced challenges with its outdated IT infrastructure. Increased workloads highlighted that their systems could not sustain them, and staff had limited access to information while offsite. They engaged Infoxchange for an IT review and upgrade.
Infoxchange replaced the council's infrastructure and internet access in their Sydney and Melbourne offices, provided new computers, and migrated staff to SharePoint for cloud-based document storage. This provided a central repository accessible from anywhere. Infoxchange also delivered onsite and remote training. As a result, staff can now work more collaboratively in and out of the office, allowing them to focus more energy on supporting refugees.
