Case Study: Leroy Merlin guarantees application performance and customer satisfaction with Infovista

A Infovista Case Study

Preview of the Leroy Merlin Case Study

Leroy Merlin uses InfoVista to guarantee the quality of service delivered to customers

Leroy Merlin, a leading French DIY and home‑improvement retailer with 140 sites (120 stores), over 19,000 employees and €4.9 billion in revenue, was seeing application performance decline as network traffic grew. About 150 applications ran across their SFR‑operated network—roughly 20 of them critical (online catalog, ordering, loyalty, inventory)—so the company chose Infovista’s Application Aware SD‑WAN (formerly Ipanema) to gain real‑time visibility, control and prioritization to protect customer service and employee productivity.

Infovista implemented its Application Aware SD‑WAN to automatically map and manage apps, apply dynamic prioritization, and deliver real‑time dashboards and SLA metrics (Application Quality Score, MOS). The solution guaranteed consistent performance for critical apps across Leroy Merlin’s fiber‑upgraded sites regardless of traffic, improved store responsiveness and customer wait times, and gave IT predictable, scalable rollout of new applications—covering 150 applications and ~20 critical services—with centralized reporting and WAN governance.
