INEOS Styrolution, a global plastics manufacturer with 3,100 employees and 41 locations, needed to roll out Skype for Business company-wide without increasing bandwidth or expanding its network management team, while also replacing costly PBX systems and supporting future growth. To prevent network bottlenecks and maintain service levels across sites with varying connectivity, INEOS engaged Infovista’s Ipanema application-performance platform and related managed services.

Infovista’s Ipanema systems (managed centrally via Ipanema SALSA and delivered as a Managed Ipanema Service through Videns IT Services) were deployed across all locations to map traffic in real time and automatically prioritize mission‑critical apps (Skype for Business, SAP and bespoke applications). The solution provided proactive alerts, centralized tuning and traffic prioritization, enabling INEOS to run Skype for Business over existing bandwidth, avoid expanding the network team or upgrading links, realize substantial cost savings, and maintain guaranteed application performance worldwide.
