DiGi Telecommunications, a leading Malaysian mobile operator serving over 10 million subscribers, faced growing complexity as it expanded across 2G, 3G/3.5G and LTE technologies. Multi-vendor equipment and inconsistent handover parameters were driving dropped and blocked calls, lengthening problem-resolution time and raising operational costs. To address this, DiGi deployed Infovista’s Xeda network parameter management solution to ensure parameter consistency and preserve service quality.

Infovista implemented Xeda to centralize parameter data, automate collection, analysis and MML script generation, and apply RF engineering best practices across multi-vendor environments. The solution shortened the time to locate and resolve dropped-call issues, enabled engineers to create, track and verify parameter changes from a single database, reduced engineering resource needs and operational costs, and increased successful call completion — making Infovista’s Xeda a scalable, integral part of DiGi’s ongoing network optimization.
