A Infovista Case Study

Preview of the Cirque du Soleil Case Study

Cuts costs and enhances customer experience globally

Cirque du Soleil, a global entertainment company with 4,000 employees and 25 stationary/touring shows, needed high‑performance, fast‑reconnect network access to its Montreal data center to support ticketing, communications and inventory systems while reducing costs and improving collaboration. Infovista was engaged to deliver a comprehensive networking and mobile convergence solution to meet the complex needs of touring shows and centralized operations.

Infovista implemented a Global IP VPN with application optimization (Network Boost), global mobile convergence (Business Everywhere and Business Talk Mobile), scalable collaboration services (Business Together), local connectivity support for touring sites, and a Global Project Management Office to coordinate rollouts. The Infovista solution improved global collaboration, made online ticket and merchandise purchases faster and more reliable, enabled 300 senior executives to access corporate apps via smartphones, and cut international mobile charges by 60–70%.
