The Information Lab Spain, a Tableau and Alteryx consulting firm, wanted a better way to present a road trip dashboard and other story-driven reports without cluttering the layout with long text. While preparing a customer dashboard, consultant Atefeh Hezavehei discovered Infotopics’ ScrollyTelling Tableau extension, along with the MailScheduler app for sharing reports.

Using Infotopics’ ScrollyTelling, The Information Lab Spain built blog-like Tableau dashboards that combine maps, charts, and short narrative sections with interactive links between text and visuals. The result was a smoother, more engaging way to browse stories and insights, and the company is now using ScrollyTelling together with MailScheduler to quickly create and distribute daily reports to stakeholders who do not need to be Tableau users.
