Dansk Supermarked, Denmark’s largest retail group, needed to replace a legacy ecommerce platform that was running out of capacity and limiting its ability to scale online growth. The company wanted a more flexible, cross-channel shopping experience that could support its stores and websites and improve the customer journey, so it turned to Infosys and its ecommerce expertise.

Infosys helped Dansk Supermarked define the ecommerce strategy, conduct requirements analysis, and configure and implement a new Hybris-based platform. The solution improved navigation and search on bilka.dk, enabled stronger integration with stores and SAP, and supported new services like click and collect. As a result, Dansk Supermarked gained an enriched customer experience, reduced time-to-market for new services, and increased potential for online and in-store sales; the retailer also reported that customer search time on the site was reduced.
