Infosys Public Services helped Orlando implement Google Apps and Google Postini Services, migrating the city in just over two months. The new cloud-based platform improved e-mail storage and mobile access, added security and filtering capabilities, and introduced collaboration tools like Google Docs and internal sites. Orlando expects to save $200,000 annually, while also reducing maintenance burdens, eliminating spam-filtering appliances, and improving communication and productivity across departments.
