Worldline, an Atos subsidiary and European leader in electronic payment services, processes millions of daily transactions for hundreds of banks and thousands of merchants. The company needed a merchant‑facing, self‑service analytics environment that could scale to that volume, let business users generate statistics and analyze merchant activity quickly, and reduce reliance on IT for routine reporting and insights.

Worldline deployed Information Builders’ WebFOCUS platform (Portal, InfoAssist, AppStudio and Mobile) to build portals, dashboards and reusable InfoApps that access its data warehouse, ODS and fraud database. About 300 business users now create and schedule interactive reports, while developers built tools like a Pricer Tool, quality‑control dashboards and fraud detection apps. The result: faster, more flexible analytics, greater user independence, streamlined operations across finance, sales and manufacturing, and improved merchant decision‑making and cost efficiency.
