Workers Compensation Fund Enhances Company-Wide Reporting With WebFOCUS

Workers Compensation Fund (WCF), a Utah-based non-profit mutual insurer serving more than 20,000 businesses, needed fast, intuitive access to diverse, hard-to-reach data (including Adabas and other legacy systems). Previous reporting tools couldn’t integrate those sources, limiting visibility for claims, underwriting, finance, and customer service.

WCF deployed Information Builders’ WebFOCUS platform with parameter-driven reporting, a customer-facing Risk Management Dashboard (Flex Enable), and DataMigrator to support a data warehouse. The solution gave staff and clients self-service analytics and deep drill-downs, speeding claims processing, improving safety programs and loss-ratio management, enhancing finance reporting and fraud detection, and raising overall decision-making and customer service.
