WebFOCUS Turns Neways Into a Cleaner, Data-Driven Company

Neways, a direct‑sales maker of personal care, household, and nutritional products sold in 31 countries, needed to standardize global reporting, give business analysts a self‑service BI environment, and deliver real‑time production data to a large, dispersed network of independent distributors. Existing systems were slow and fragmented, making it hard for distributors to track sales and bonus qualifications or for analysts to get timely financial and operational insight.

Using Information Builders’ WebFOCUS platform (with InfoAssist and Hyperstage) Neways deployed automated, web‑based dashboards, a tiered distributor reporting environment, and a self‑service reporting layer for analysts. Hyperstage cut query times from 15–20 minutes to minutes or seconds, enabled unlimited report distribution under the licensing model, turned BI into a subscription revenue stream, and gave distributors and internal teams faster, actionable data that improved sales tracking, profitability, and consistency of metrics worldwide.
