The City of Richmond, serving about 200,000 residents, faced a challenge after deploying an online registration system (Class): the system tracked registrations and payments well but could not properly transfer financial data into the City’s PeopleSoft financial system, complicating timely distribution of funds to the many community associations that run recreation programs.

Information Builders implemented WebFOCUS (with iWay) to extract, transform and load registration payments into PeopleSoft, and to generate daily reconciliation reports plus an intuitive dashboard for recreation staff.
