WebFOCUS Dashboard Saves Millions for nVision Customers

nVision Global, a leading provider of freight bill auditing, payment and logistics services that processes 63 million invoices and manages $3.1 billion in freight liability annually, needed to give large shippers—who spend $20M–$400M yearly—richer, self-service analytics. Their existing reporting was limited and required dedicated staff to produce insights; nVision wanted interactive graphs, map-based reports and better drill-downs so customers could analyze routes, rates and carrier performance on their own.

Information Builders delivered a secure SaaS iFocus Dashboard built with WebFOCUS, Visual Discovery, Active Technology Reports and ESRI GIS, surfacing 17 KPIs, interactive maps, and ad hoc drill-downs. The result: customers can manage logistics across 10,000 carriers online, achieve broader adoption (about 95% of new customers), and realize millions in savings—about an additional 2% reduction in transportation spend on top of nVision’s 5–7% savings.
