SWBC Gains Insight From Consolidated Customer Data

SWBC, a San Antonio–based financial services firm with more than 2,000 employees, struggled with fragmented applications and data silos from years of acquisitions, which made it difficult to produce consolidated reports or maintain consistent customer records.

By deploying Information Builders’ WebFOCUS, iWay Integration Suite and iWay Data Quality Suite to build a centralized data warehouse, SWBC automated several hundred process flows and integrated data from 17 sources with strong data-governance and cleansing rules. The solution delivered a single, up-to-date view of each customer, faster onboarding of clients and data sources, self-service reporting and instant scorecards (now generated for 150 clients versus days previously), plus automated P&L reporting and richer analytics.
