Sunset Transportation, a St. Louis–based third‑party logistics firm, needed enterprise-grade, customer-facing analytics beyond what its existing Tableau environment could provide. Working with Information Builders, the company sought a scalable, cloud-ready solution to consolidate order, tracking and financial data and deliver self‑service insights to clients.

Information Builders helped Sunset build a Snowflake data warehouse, ETL pipelines with iWay DataMigrator, and a WebFOCUS‑powered customer portal (LOGIK) deployed on AWS. The new Shipment Metrics and Live In‑Transit dashboards give clients real‑time tracking, ad hoc exports, and lane/cost analysis so they can negotiate better contracts, select optimal carriers, expedite shipments, and Sunset can scale quickly while cutting infrastructure costs.
