Rural Computer Services (RSI), the shared IT/outsourcing arm of Spain’s Caja Rural Group serving 72 rural banks, faced rising customer dissatisfaction as end‑user needs and global banking standards evolved. RSI needed to better integrate new and legacy data sources and simplify access to financial information so bank managers could make faster, more informed decisions.

RSI implemented Information Builders’ WebFOCUS to create “Optimize,” a customizable, dashboard‑driven BI environment with rich visualizations, templates, advanced search and filtering, and a virtual desktop. The platform automates reporting, supports over 800 report types, links to CRM and external apps, and enables user autonomy—resulting in faster decision‑making, improved service, stronger risk management, and higher operational efficiency across the bank network.
