North American Lighting (NAL), a Tier 1 automotive lighting supplier and the largest non‑affiliated lighting vendor in North America, faced the retirement of a legacy reporting system and needed to consolidate disparate reporting tools to cut costs and expand its pool of report developers while providing consistent, timely data across plants.

NAL standardized on Information Builders’ WebFOCUS (with InfoAssist and ReportCaster) and adapters for DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle, migrating 150 legacy reports and creating 100+ new reports, dashboards, and InfoApps.
