Maverick Transportation, one of the largest U.S. flatbed carriers with more than 1,200 vehicles, needed a better way to distribute timely operational and financial information across headquarters and drivers on the road. Its legacy mix of reporting tools and disparate databases made it difficult to combine data, produce consolidated views, and monitor key metrics for safety, maintenance, and profitability.

Maverick deployed Information Builders’ WebFOCUS (Developer Studio, Mobile, and database adapters) to consolidate DB2, SQL Server and other sources into real-time dashboards and scorecards. Today more than 400 users rely on these reports and in‑cab driver scorecards to track safety, maintenance, training, and financial KPIs—helping the company manage costs, improve margins, ensure regulatory compliance, and maximize profitability.
