Maitland, a global fund administration and advisory firm with more than $280 billion in assets under administration, needed a general-purpose integration environment to simplify data integration, data quality, application integration, and B2B SWIFT message processing across trading and settlement systems. Rapid time-to-market and the ability to handle diverse SWIFT message types were critical as the company scaled and added clients worldwide.

Maitland implemented Information Builders’ iWay platform (DataMigrator, Service Manager, and SWIFT eBusiness Accelerators) to orchestrate interfaces, automate message transformation, and reuse integration patterns. The solution enabled straight-through processing, cut new-client onboarding from 1–3 months to a few hours, supported ten times more trading processes, doubled throughput, and now settles about 80,000 trades per month for 120 clients—while allowing fast SWIFT updates and greater operational flexibility.
