The City of Brampton, one of Canada’s fastest-growing municipalities, faced urgent IT and data-management challenges as population and asset reporting demands grew. City data lived in dozens of disconnected systems, making it slow and difficult to produce accurate consolidated reports (including mandatory Tangible Capital Assets reporting) and to deliver timely services to citizens.

Working with Information Builders, Brampton implemented the iWay integration suite—including iWay Service Manager, Master Data Center and Data Quality Center—plus professional services to create a central MDM hub and real-time interfaces across 100+ applications. The result is a single, validated view of master records with consistent business rules: staff now access accurate, up-to-date data instantly, reporting and processing that once took days are immediate, and the city can provide more accurate, responsive service to residents.
